All About Lips

How long does it last?

Results can last 1-3 years. Fading will occur over time due to your skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, and cellular turnover. Annual color boosts are recommended.

Is it painful?

We take every precaution to ensure the procedure is as pain free as possible. A topical anesthetic cream is used during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible.

How long is the recovery/healing time?

After your procedure your lips will appear darker and bolder than how they will actually heal. They may also appear swollen. Around day two-three, the lips will softly flake away, and the following day they appear almost entirely healed. DO NOT PICK ANY DRY SKIN!

How do you select the color?

We will select a color together by applying small amounts of different pigments to the skin. It is important to note that if you have naturally dark lips e.g. East Indian, Middle Eastern, African ethnic background, you MUST send us a photo of your lips BEFORE booking.

Can I have my lips tattooed if I'm pregnant?

No you cannot have this treatment done if you are pregnant.

How long does the procedure take?

The appointment should take about 2.5 hours.
